The Seattle Seahawks selected Ethan Pocic from Louisiana State University with the No. 58 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia on Thursday evening.
Pocic started three years for the Tigers at center, but he was announced as a tackle on Friday when he was selected. Over his collegiate career, Pocic had 37 starts: 27 at center, nine at right guard and one at right tackle. He’s also spent time practicing on the left side.
As a junior, Pocic was named Second Team All-Conference with 132.5 knockdowns in 12 games. He capped off his career with cheap Seahawks jerseys a First-Team All-SEC selection in 2016, in addition to Second and Third-Team All American honors.
At the NFL Combine in February, the 6-foot-6, 310-pounder ran a 5.15 40-yard dash, posting a 27.0 vertical. Pocic had never visited Seattle prior to being drafted.
In a conference call with the media Friday,cheap Ethan Pocic jersey, Pocic compared himself to Seahawks center Justin Britt. Britt must have been scrolling through Twitter and responded.
