TAMPA — This is wholesale jerseys site only a three-day rookie minicamp, but for new Bucs players, Friday’s first practice was the first time they wore their Tampa Bay uniforms, and for some, it was the realization of a long-awaited goal.
“Honestly, it’s surreal, man,” said third-round draft pick Chris Godwin, a receiver from Penn State. “This is something that I’ve dreamed about my entire life, and to really be here at this moment, obviously it was a lot of hard work that went into it. There’s still a lot of hard work ahead, but I’m thrilled to be here.”
Godwin is one of several key additions to the offense, and like veteran WR DeSean Jackson, he should add speed the Bucs lacked last season.
“I think it’s a good situation for me to come in and really learn,” Godwin said, “not only the offense, but learn how to be a pro and how to approach things the right way and really learn how to be the best receiver I can be.”
